This is your life, not a rehearsal. Enlarge it. Take a deep breath, enlarge it.
So I’m currently writing my English essay on The Faerie Queene and bitching about it to my boyfriend because well frankly, The Faerie Queene fucking sucks and he’s the only other shmuck in London still working at 5 AM.
This entire English class is all about allegory, which refers to a story, poem or picture that can be interpreted to reveal hidden meaning. But seeing as I can’t understand ANYTHING in this horrible Old English poetry format, the whole freaking book is one giant hidden meaning to me.
Obviously as I’m sitting here typing away with my Gryffindor pillow and Pygmy Puff close by (courtesy of my Wizarding World trip in December), I can’t help but make a Harry Potter connection.
I argue, if this entire damn course is about allegory, instead of this useless Faerie crap, why couldn’t I have written my essay on Harry Potter? I’ve never read a series with more allegorical meaning and foreshadowing than Harry Potter. And its relevance and modernity as a series while still maintaining the magical, medieval themes of Shakespeare is a huge plus. As a matter of fact,I don’t get why educational institutions always insist on us reading non-relavent Old English crap when Harry Potter is probably the most well-written books with hidden meaning since Shakespeare.
Anyways, in response to my whiny argument, my boyfriend - a childhood HP fan - just sent me a meme that contains all the allegory in the world.
For all you HP fans out there who get the connection, I had never even noticed this before in the series and it brings my ”Harry Potter should be taught in my class” argument to a whole new level.
HOW’S THIS FOR ALLEGORY, PROFESSOR??????
Can’t stop squealing, bye.

Mouth won’t stop watering. I think at this point I don’t care if I gain the freshmen 150…I would rather die a fat happy old lady who lived a good life and ate amazing food than a skinny bitch who ate nothing but lettuce all her life. It’s a blessing to get to eat something this good, seriously.
Gawd, I love food.
Just so you know every single one of these pictures are completely real with no edits.
Oh, beautiful DIsney World.
Winter Break ‘11-12 take me baaackk
I took this outside of Stevenson Hall last week. I had been there studying the entire day and finally got outside at 7:18 PM. And even though the only thing on my mind that day was exams, it really was the most gorgeous night out…I just needed to whip out my camera!
Ohhh my beautiful school. I only love you again because I’m done exams.
I finally finally finished today. Greatest feeling in the entire universe. Goodnight Tumblr, I’m taking a well-deserved nap :)
xoxo
I blame Tumblr’s glamorous depictions of desserts for what I’m about to say…
I should just drop out of school and open up my own cupcake shop. An MIT degree won’t teach me this delicate art:

Clearly, I know where my priorities lie.
